I knew my Air Force PT test was coming, I scheduled it in advance. The test includes a waist measurement, 1 minute of push-ups, 1 minute of sit-ups and 1.5 mile run. AF standard is a waist under 35.5 inches and my waist measured 36 inches, this means I failed.
Due to breaking my arm, my test component was waist only and I was exempt from push-ups, sit-ups and the run.
I got myself a fitness journal, vowed to cut out sweets and alcohol and adding strength training to my routine. Here’s to starting a new diet and cutting out junk food, candy, cookies, cake and alcohol.
